Imagine this. You start a new job. As you walk in, you expect to be greeted by your boss, a coworker, someone, anyone, to show you the proverbial ropes. Instead, you are left all alone. Your boss is too busy, you're coworkers don't care, even the office gossip won't talk to you. No one tells you where to sit, no one tells you what to do, no one even tells you where to get that horrible office coffee. You are left without assistance and, ultimately, without a clue.
You wouldn't want to start a new job like this, so why participate in any kind of a business program that has a similar means of getting started? Instead, look for a program that has, above all, one thing set in stone: training that you can access on your own, where you control your own level of success.
There are a ton of business opportunities available to those willing to look for them. Cash gifting, work from home sales, data entry, the list goes on and on. But, what good is a program if you don't know what to do?
Now, sure, there are a few different ways a person can be trained - you don't necessarily have to have your own access to a training program . For example, you can be taught directly by a mentor or a Guru. But, this often causes one of two problems. Either your mentor has little or no time for you, leaving your hands tied and your training halted, or your mentor is really about as clueless as you. Either way, you don't receive the proper training you need for success. You are left helpless, angry, and wishing you could get back the time you just wasted.
Whether you are starting a home based business or investing in a new way of thinking, it's critical to know the importance of training. Instead of joining programs that are based on mentorship, look for ones that have a training site or a central point where each person can receive professional and equal training. Also look for training programs that are individualized: ones where you can reap what you sew.
Where improper or incomplete training allows you to become frustrated, annoyed, and limited in your success, proper training opens up a world of possibilities. It allows you to learn your craft, know your art and become your own mentor.
